Acquisition adds enterprise video solutions company known for work in gaming market

Global ePoint, a video surveillance solutions provider with a service line from DVR-based video systems for commercial and industrial markets to mobile video solutions popular for law enforcement as well as aircraft cockpit surveillance, announced today that it has acquired Tops Digital Security.

Tops, a private company that provides CCTV/video surveillance technologies from fiber optics to cameras and recording platforms, is based in Ontario, Calif. The company's solutions primarily gravitate to technologies used for high-quality video capture and in-house video monitoring operations.

The company has made much of its name providing enterprise systems for casinos, hotels and entertainment venues, as well as law enforcement facilities, retailers, and airports. On the Tops client list are such names as the Ramada Express Casino, Lakeside Casino, SeaWorld, California Corrections and Rehabilitation, Marshall's, Saks Fifth Avenue and the Redlands Municipal Airport.
