SecureNet Alarm Systems is building a 22,000-square-foot headquarters at 37th North and Maize Road.

The fast-growing local company sells, installs and monitors home and commercial alarm systems. It also sells and installs whole house vacuum systems, sound systems and other low-voltage-powered systems for the home.

The $2 million building will house the company's headquarters, showroom, monitoring call center and warehouse. The company is consolidating its existing operations.

It will break ground in late January or early February, said company president Randy Rosiere. The building may house 90 employees by the time it opens by the end of summer.

The new headquarters is the first commercial building at Hampton Lakes Office Park on the northwest corner of 37th North and Maize Road.

Rosiere, a former executive of Multimedia Security, founded SecureNet nine years ago.
