Bosch finalizes Extreme CCTV Acquisition

Shareholders approve acquisition; deal is closed for $93M CAN

Following recent approval by shareholders, Bosch has finalized its acquisition of Canadian surveillance firm Extreme CCTV. The purchase price was the equivalent of $93 million in Canadian dollars (approximately $94.6 million USD, or 63 million Euros).

Extreme CCTV manufactures active infrared illumination sources, integrated cameras for day-night surveillance with active illumination, and hardened systems for so-called "extreme environments." The company's 2007 sales were roughly CAN $43 million, which covers the brands Extreme CCTV, Forward Vision and Derwent.
