Kaba Ilco has sold its subsidiary Millennium Access Control Systems to Gregory Goldman's company Millennium Group.

According to Michael Kincaid, general manager of Kaba Access Control, the sale of the Millennium Access Control, will allow Kaba to "focus on the development, sales, marketing and support of the core product lines, including SIMPLEX Mechanical Pushbutton locks, electronic locks including the new E-PLEX line, and patented key control products such as the PEAKS syste."

Goldman, who is CEO of the Millennium Group, said that the Millennium systems -- which can be scaled to accommodate up to 100,000 users -- gives his company " a well respected, high quality product and a well established customer base in this strategic market."

Millennium Access Control Systems were formerly part of Ilco Unican Corporation, which was subsequently acquired by Kaba in 2001.
