The Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA) has updated its Standards-at-a-Glance. The BHMA Standards-at-a-Glance are freely offered, uniform versions of 15 product standards, and are available on the BHMA website at buildershardware.com. The standards are in a PDF file format for downloading.

The standards, co-developed by ANSI and the BHMA, pertain to such items as closers, exit devices, locks and latches, and other devices used in building security and safety.

The standards provide details on the "appropriate operation, performance characteristics, physical properties, test values, usage parameters, safety criteria," according to the BHMA, but are not the full-fledged ANSI/BHMA standards.

The 15 standards in the At-a-Glance version are part of a total of 22 that are part of the BHMA certification, required standards that must be met to have the BHMA Certified logo used in product marketing.
