California Alarm Association to Host IP-Enabled Security Workshop on Nov. 11

The CAA's George Demarco (president, Greater Alarm Company) will be hosting a session on IP-enabled security systems during the Electronic House Expo (EHX) on Friday, Nov. 11 in Annaheim, Calif.

Demarco will be leading industry spokespersons, including Dawnmarie Martin from Ingram Micro, John Pryma from Honeywell Cable Products and David Roberts from DMP, in a discussion designed to bring California security systems dealers up to speed on IP-based technologies for both the commercial and residential security sectors.

Interested persons can register by calling 800-315-1581 or by going online to the EHX co-located training web page.

CAA members and employees of CAA member companies can attend the workshop at a discount (for $95). Those who register for the workshop also gain access to the home automation show floor, which is predicted to have more than 300 vendors. The Electronic House Expo's fall show is from Nov. 9-11 and can be found on the web at www.ehxweb.com.
