Consolidated Systems Inc. of Columbia will open a plant for its Metal Dek Group in Phoenix, Ariz.
The company will begin making its line of steel decks there in early 2006. Its products are used to build roofs, floors and bridges.
The 60,000-square-foot site will give the company more sales opportunities in the West.
