St. Louis-based Hackett Security announced this week that it has acquired Brinkmann Security, a Waterloo, Illinois-based provider of residential and commercial security services.
According to a statement, the acquisition will allow Hackett to increase its market share in the region.
Brinkmann Security was founded by the late John Brinkmann and has served customers in the Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois regions for over 35 years.
"Brinkmann has developed a strong client base and provided excellent service for over three decades. We were especially attracted to them based on their work with high-end residences in the St. Louis area as well as commercial accounts," said Michael J. Hackett, CEO and President of Hackett Security. "The acquisition enables Hackett Security to continue our growth across the region by bringing video security, alarm, firm system and door access products, with UL listed central monitoring station capabilities, to more homes and businesses in St. Louis as well as Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois. We continue to look for prime acquisition candidates as we add to and develop new markets."
