Spokane Casino's Employees Investigated for Theft

Alleged theft believed committed by a trusted employee; follows other alleged incidents

News reports KXLY-TV in from Spokane, Wash., report that the prior controller at the Classic Rock Casino has been arrested for theft. The former controller, Barbara Ramelow has been charged with a number of charges. Reports from the gaming commission put Ramelow's alleged theft at more than $200,000.

The arrest follows last week's arrest of her husband for a $19,000 theft from the casino, and earlier in the month, a security guard at Classic Rock Casino was arrested for the alleged theft -- from a cashier cage -- of $15,000.
