President Bush signed a spending bill for homeland security that includes funding for critical infrastructure protection and cybersecurity.

HR-4567 provides the Dept. of Homeland Security $33.1 billion, up $2.8 billion from FY 2004. Included are $4.1 billion for first responders and $855 million to protect the nation's critical infrastructure. Of that, $67.4 million is for cybersecurity and $191.6 million for physical protection of critical infrastructure.
