U.S. DoD Anti-Terror Group Extends Contract with Viisage

Viisage will continue to deliver biometrics solutions for DoD's Combating Terrorism Technology Support Office

Identity authentication company Viisage will continue to work with the U.S. Department of Defense Combating Terrorism Technology Support Office thanks to a contract extension announced on Wednesday. The support office manages the Technical Support Working Group program (TSWG), and will extend the contract for a value of $879,000.

Part of the contract includes Viisage's work with the DoD Biometrics Automated Toolset, the Washington, D.C. Department of Corrections, as well as a variety of homeland security and intelligence operations functions. The company's previous contract with the TSWG involved access control, surveillance, and database mining.
