June 13, 2012 -- The Security Industry Association (SIA) is relocating its headquarters office in the Washington, D.C. metro area later this month to Silver Spring, Md.
The organization noted that it had been in the current space in Alexandria, Va., for 12 years, but was moving to new offices for what it called " better facilities for visiting members, including meeting space and better access to accommodations, public transit, dining and other area attractions." The new facility's address as of June 25, 2012 will be 8405 Colesville Road, Suite 500, Silver Spring, MD 20910-6343. The main office phone number for SIA will be (301) 804-4700.
The organization (online at www.siaonline.org) primarily serves as an association of security product manufacturers, but has made a recent move to include more security systems integrators in its membership.
