Panasonic launches new reseller program

Authorized Reseller Program to give company’s partners a competitive advantage


Video surveillance product manufacturer Panasonic announced on Friday that it has launched a new Panasonic Authorized Reseller Program, which the company said is designed to provide its resellers with a competitive advantage.

In a statement, Panasonic said that the program will create an alignment between its sales force and channel community, providing a "consistent program experience for all authorized resellers."

Earlier this year, Panasonic announced that it was restructuring its U.S. operations with a goal of increasing communication with its end-user customers. As part of that restructuring effort, the company formed a B2B solutions company, which contains a portfolio of diverse solutions for a wide range of customers.

Panasonic has also grown its channel sales, marketing and support organization by approximately 20 percent to better serve the channel community. As the program is rolled out in the coming months, the company said resellers will enjoy benefits such as a new partner portal containing all technology, solutions, and program information across the entire product portfolio.

"Built to support our sales strategy, our new Authorized Reseller Program will offer participating resellers potential access to all Panasonic B2B technologies, under a consistent set of terms and conditions," said Bill Brennan, senior director, channel sales - resellers, Panasonic System Communications Company. "The new program will offer our partners greater program consistency, access to new solutions, and more in-house channel resources. These core program elements will give our partners what they need to grow their business and equip their customers with a technology solution for nearly any application."
