Protection 1, the second largest business and home security company in the U.S., announced this week that it recently acquired Washington, D.C.-based Vintage Security.
Serving more than 15,000 customers in the Washington, D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia areas, the acquistion is the largest in Protection 1's history. In addition to installing residential and commercial security systems, Vintage also serves the custom home builder market with high-end home security and entertainment systems.
"Vintage Security aligns well with Protection 1," Protection 1 Executive Vice President and CFO Dan Bresingham said in a statement. "In addition to their pristine focus on the customer experience, they have proven themselves as a growing company with a solid customer and employee base."
Vintage Security’s 100 employees will become part of the Protection 1 team.
