Canada-based video surveillance solutions maker Avigilon announced this week that it has opened its new U.S. headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
According to a statement, the new location will help the company better serve its partners and customers in the U.S. The company is coming off of a record year in 2012 in which it saw more than $100 million in revenues.
The facility will house employees in sales, business development and customer support. It is also set to become the global headquarters for sales and will add additional customer support staff over the next year.
“The U.S. market accounts for a healthy percentage of our revenue. It’s important to us to continue providing our American partners and customers with the best possible service,” Avigilon President and CEO Alexander Fernandes said in the statement. “We chose Dallas because it is a business friendly city. With access to an incredible talent pool and quality infrastructure it’s no wonder several major corporations call this city home.”
