AT&T announces seven more 'Digital Life' market roll outs

Telco continues its aggressive foray into home security and automation

AT&T announced on Monday that it will be launching its "Digital Life" home security and automation service in seven additional U.S. markets later this week.

According to a statement, beginning on Friday, customers will be able to view a demo and purchase the Digital Life offering from company owned retail stores in Baltimore, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Sacramento, and Washington, D.C.

AT&T officially launched Digital Life in 15 markets last month. The telecommunications giant has announced plans to introduce the home security package in up to 50 markets by the end of 2013.

"Digital Life offers our customers a single integrated solution built around their needs, making security and home management easier than ever," Kevin Petersen, president, Digital Life, Inc., said in a statement.  "With the rollout in seven new markets, we’re looking forward to making the security and convenience of Digital Life available to more customers throughout the country."
