Behavioral Recognition Systems Inc. (BRS Labs) is planning to take the company public, according to a recent interview on the FOX Business Network.
The company, creator of the AISight artificial intelligence analytics solution that teaches itself to recognize and alert on unexpected patterns within massive volumes of data, was featured on Varney & Company earlier this week.“We are excited to announce that we will soon be taking the company public,” said John Frazzini, President of BRS Labs. “This is an important step for the company and we look forward to the future possibilities that come with such a move.”
BRS Labs was founded in 2005 by Ray Davis to address issues related to unmanned surveillance. After personally witnessing the limitations of traditional video analytics and speaking with sources in the security technology community, he set out to create a much needed and truly innovative security solution.
“In the years since founding BRS Labs, we have revolutionized the intelligent video analytics industry with our behavioral recognition technology,” BRS Labs founder Ray Davis said in a statement. “Today, we have 100 patents granted or pending in artificial intelligence technology and count many of the most recognizable companies and government agencies in the world among our customers.”
As BRS Labs continues to grow, the company plans to expand into new markets. This endeavor has already proven fruitful with the successful release of AISight for SCADA earlier this year, which alerts on SCADA data sensors in the oil and gas, utilities and nuclear industries.
“Our exponential success thus far, combined with our rapid expansion into new markets, has made it clear that going public is in the best interest of our investors,” Davis continued.
