The Duchossois Group acquires Controlled Products Systems Group

Perimeter access control distributor to continue to operate as a stand-alone business

The Duchossois Group, Inc (TDG). announced this week that it has acquired Controlled Products Systems Group, Inc. (CPSG), a Denver-based wholesale distributor of perimeter access control solutions in the U.S. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In a statement, The Duchossois Group said that acquisition supports their commitment to invest in “strong, innovative businesses” that complement their subsidiary, The Chamberlain Group, Inc. (CGI).   

 “CPSG is able to successfully deliver bundled, perimeter access control solutions to the market by maintaining close relationships with customers and providing best-in-class service,” said CGI CEO Jim Roberts. “As we leverage best practices, both companies will be better positioned to serve our dealer-installers, business customers and consumers.”

CPSG will continue to be run as a stand-alone business led by President Brian Huitt, President. The company’s headquarters will also remain in Denver.
