ASIS International this week announced that U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and FBI Director James Comey will address attendees at ASIS 2016 next month in Orlando.

According to a statement, Johnson will speak at a luncheon on Monday, September 12 at 12:15 pm while Comey is scheduled to address members of the CSO Center for Leadership & Development, as well as invited guests, on Tuesday, Sept 13 at 11:00 am. Both events will take place at the Orange County Convention Center and are open to the media.

In his remarks, Comey is expected to focus on cybersecurity and the FBI’s strategy for combatting cybercrime. Both sets of remarks will underscore the importance of strong private sector collaboration, according to ASIS.

In addition to Johnson’s attendance, the DHS Office of Infrastructure Protection is also supporting the inaugural ASIS Security Week in Orlando, which will kick off with a free Preparedness and Prevention Community Seminar on September 11 at the Hyatt Regency.
