Earlier this year, UTC sold its fire and security systems integration business known as Red Hawk to Florida-based private equity firm the Comvest Group. In an interview this week with SIW, Mike Synder, the CEO of the company, which will operate under the name of Red Hawk Fire and Security U.S., said that the firm is in position to grow again and that the new ownership group is committed to their long term success.
