Boca Raton, FL, September 9, 2008 – Software House, a leading access control brand of Tyco International, today introduced its latest release of the C•CURE 9000 security and event management system. This release brings powerful support for IP devices. These devices include the new Software House Wireless Access Control System and C•CURE Mobile, a wireless handheld device that lets users create secured entrances at a variety of off-site, "unwired" locations such as buses, trains, boats, and at specified mustering points. C•CURE 9000 now also supports the newly introduced American Dynamics VideoEdge Network Video Recorder (NVR).
In addition to supporting IP devices, the latest version of C•CURE 9000 includes database partitioning for flexible management of personnel and built-in LDAP connection to easily import personnel records. This release also enables the thousands of existing Software House customers using legacy apC panels to smoothly migrate to C•CURE 9000.
"Our continued use of open and industry standards allows us to adapt to changes in the security industry," said Peter Boriskin, vice president of R&D for Tyco International's access control solutions. "We remain steadfastly committed to adopting the very latest in innovative technology to bring our customers forward without leaving their existing investments behind."
Software House developers were early adopters of Microsoft .NET v3.5 which includes standard IT tools that enabled them to bring the solution to market much faster.
To see the new version of C•CURE 9000, visit booth #3911 at ASIS International 2008 in Atlanta from September 15-17.
