Milestone, a developer of IP video management software, announced Monday that StarDot’s line of NetCam SC high definition IP cameras can now be integrated with Milestone XProtect software.
According to a press release issued by Milestone, the integration of the company’s software with StarDot’s cameras will provide customers with more "visual data" than standard IP or CCTV cameras and allow them to capture more detailed images.
In a prepared statement, Vance Kozik, product manager for California-based IP solutions manufacturer StarDot, XProtect gives customers an "easy to manage interface" with their cameras, thus allowing one camera to take the place of several "traditional" surveillance cameras.
