The Canadian security company Visual Defence announced Monday that it had landed two separate contracts totaling C$2.4 million.

The Montreal Transit Corporation will pay the company C$870,000 to integrate video analytics with their existing video surveillance system.

The other contract awarded to Visual Defence was from Norwegian State Railway for C$1.5 million to outfit 200 of their three-carriage trains with a mobile surveillance and recording solution.

Both projects are expected to commence this month, according to a statement issued by the company.
