Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) introduces its latest panel innovation, the XT Series Burglary/Fire/Door Access Panel, available to DMP Dealers July 11, 2008. This powerful panel provides a complete set of communications options in an all-in-one, all on-board design that offers increased capabilities with faster, easierinstallation.

"DMP is no stranger to innovation," said Jeff McAleer, vice president of sales. "Our Dealers expect us to bring them a steady stream of technology breakthroughs like the XT Series. With an optional dialer, flexible communication options, and a wireless receiver all available on a single board, we’ve introduced a bold new design that provides more flexibility with greater ease of installation in one of the most affordable models on the market."

The XT Series is available in two models with various configurations. The XT30 supports 10 on-board and 20 additional zones, and includes a dialer. The XT50 is available with or without a dialer, and also supports 10 on-board zones. It adds 20 wired zones, and 40 wireless zones for up to 50 total zones. Installers have the option to order the panel configuration of their choice from DMP with built-in two-way wireless, network, cellular, and/or dial-up communications. The all-in-one design means no additional enclosures or connections.

Dealers who select a panel without cellular communication capabilities can easily add that feature later with the newly released DMP 263G GSM/GPRS Digital Cellular Communicator plug-in expansion card. Dealers may also add any DMP Wireless 1100D Series Two-Way Receiver on an existing XT30 Series installation.

An added benefit of the network communications option is that it can be programmed to transmit email/SMS Messages up to three addresses. End users can receive email or text messages each time there’s a system event such as arming and disarming, or any alarms.
