Surveillance Specialties (SURV) has announced the acquisitions of two security firms, Advanced Lock Company and Boulos Security Systems.

Advanced Lock, which serves southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts, has expertise in several areas including: building, fire and ADA code compliance, as well as master keying, door re-keying, and door hardware installation.

Portland, Maine based Boulos Security, installs integrated security and access control systems, as well as CCTV and fire alarm systems throughout New England. It is an affiliate of the Boulos Company, which is New England's largest real estate services firm.

According to statements issued by SURV, Advanced Lock and Boulos Security will continue to provide service to their respective regions as divisions of SURV.

Also in the statements, SURV President Arthur Bourque said that the acquisitions would help the company "broaden" the range of services it provides to an "expanded geographic foot print."
