Video surveillance storage solutions provider Pivot3 announced Tuesday that Olivier Thierry has been named as the company’s new chief marketing officer.
According to a statement, Thierry will be responsible for the oversight of all global marketing activities for the company including product management, marketing, marketing communications and go-to-market initiatives with partners and channels.
He assumes the role from Pivot3 Co-Founder Lee Caswell, who has been appointed Chief Strategy Officer. He has also held executive positions at Fiveruns Corp. and NetIQ. He received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a joint major in marketing, and computers and systems from McGill University.
"Olivier is a strong leader and world-class marketer with deep experience in building brands, establishing partnerships and driving market share in the enterprise IT markets," said Pivot3 CEO Bob Fernander. "His experience in modern enterprise software makes him particularly attuned to the needs of our current customer base as well as our rapidly growing customers in the virtualized IT and cloud market. We're delighted to have him join our all-star team and help us execute on our strategic vision and business goals."
