New high-quality color print technology now available for the Datacard MX1000 and Datacard MX2000 card issuance systems

MINNETONKA, Minn.—(Oct. 03, 2011)—Datacard Group, the world leader in secure ID and card personalization solutions, today announced a new single-step color printing technology available for the Datacard MX1000 and Datacard MX2000 card issuance systems – providing financial institutions, government organizations and other card issuers an economical way to print high-quality color images.

The new single-step color printing technology is ideal for card issuers with mid-volume card programs that need to print photos, logos and other color images on identification or financial cards.
