Pacom announces GMS 4.07

Software enables seamless integration of access control, alarm and video

Pacom Systems is proud to announce the release of the GMS 4.07 software and an updated comprehensive video integration pack.

Pacom GMS software enables the seamless integration of access control, alarm and video. With new functionality such as Intercom integration with industry leaders Stentofon, Commend and Jacques, it has never been easier to centrally operate a complete security system with multiple locations.

Pacom GMS 4.07 introduces new flexibility to improve productivity for systems users, operators and engineers - increasing the value of the overall security investment. New functionality includes the ability to configure additional event driven routines, single PIN management for access and alarm users and improved product licensing to name just a few.

The new Video Integration pack also broadens the compatibility and interoperability of GMS as a completely integrated security system, through the introduction or updated support for Dynacolor (Ness), March Networks VideoSphere, DVTel and Bosch video systems. Pacom GMS now supports integration with more than 20 of the world’s top video manufacturers and suppliers.

"The release of GMS 4.07 underlines Pacom’s position as a leader in remotely managed security systems", said Johan Lembre, CEO of Pacom Systems. "With the integration of intercoms, the GMS value proposition just got better for customers wanting to perform even more centrally", continued Mr. Lembre.

In conjunction with the GMS 4.07 release, Pacom has also introduced a new generation wireless communications device called the 8201 GPRS Expansion Module. The Pacom 8201 is a modular device that easily connects to any Pacom 8001 Controller and enables customers to choose primary or secondary communications over wireless IP. This truly innovative concept ensures that a customers' mission critical security information is always transmitted.
