Toshiba recently upgraded its network video recording server software.
IRVINE, CA, October 20, 2009 -- Toshiba Surveillance & IP Network Video, a business unit of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., has upgraded its Network Video Recording Server software (NVR) to allow users to view, record and playback up to 32 local or remote IP network cameras simultaneously per server.
Toshiba NVR software is designed for use on non-proprietary hardware and IT infrastructure running Microsoft Windows XP, making it a cost-effective IP video surveillance package. It seamlessly integrates with existing digital video recorders, PTZ controls and video-based motion detection devices. It also records image resolutions as high as the IP camera supports, including megapixel models from Toshiba, Sony, Panasonic, AXIS and other manufacturers, along with audio.
Additional capabilities include multiple levels of security access, advanced POS and ATM support, and digital signature support for tamper-proof video and JPG exporting. The browser interface allows the user to view the real-time and stored video over the Internet. NVR software enhances the user experience with complete remote management of administration and set-up controls from simple intuitive menus, along with remote video backup, viewing of live and archived video, and unprecedented video search capabilities.
