Bethesda, MD, April 06, 2011 – Brivo Systems LLC, leader in Software as a Service applications for security management, today announced that ISC West will provide the launch venue for the next major release of the company’s much-heralded cloud-based WebService Security Management System.
"Version 10.6 of ACS WebService provides a fresher, more intuitive user experience," explained Steve Van Till, President and CEO of Brivo. "Core elements of WebService like access control, ID Management, and video are better coordinated and simpler to use, yet they are substantially more powerful for our users."
In addition to the updated system menus, the new version will also showcase a host of new features and capabilities including: support for camera-generated alarm events, enhanced event filtering, and live multi-camera displays. Brivo has also updated the hosted platform’s user interface to provide correlation of access and video events along with photo ID pop-up within a single browser. Users can also create their own customized console view for display of live cameras and control of associated access points. Version 10.6 includes new features for OVR, Brivo’s hosted video recording service, and continues support for on-premise recording via integration with a variety of DVR/NVR platforms.
John Szczygiel, Brivo’s Executive Vice President for Business Development, explained the benefits of the new version, "This version enables users to customize their Brivo work-space according to the nature of their responsibilities—from administrative user to executive manager to security guard. We have over 15,000 administrative users on WebService every day, and it is essential that we deliver the right amount of information to each one according to their needs."
ACS WebService 10.6 will début at ISC West in booth #6086 and will be launched automatically to all WebService customers in April.
