Ensure Technologies, pioneer of the XyLoc family of data security products, announces that John Dunlap, a seasoned high-tech executive, has been named President and Chief Executive Officer.
Dunlap joined Ensure Technologies in February and is responsible for driving the company’s growth by developing, implementing, and overseeing strategic plans aimed at delivering innovative security solutions to customers. Dunlap plans to help Ensure continue to grow its market share in the in healthcare security market segment, and accelerate growth into new markets such as government (defense and non-defense), financial services, and legal services, where data security and user authorization are a priority.

Prior to joining Ensure Technologies, Dunlap was an executive at InduSoft, a leading industrial automation software supplier, helping the company grow in traditional as well as new market areas. Formerly, he served in senior management positions at Rockwell International and Motorola, as well as with Xycom Automation and Nematron based in Ann Arbor.
Dunlap is a graduate of the University of Toledo, where he earned a BSEE and a JD degree. He is also a licensed attorney in the State of Ohio. He attended University of Toledo’s MBA program and completed graduate classes toward his JD degree both at Marquette University and the University of Toledo. His background brings expertise in product development, sales, marketing and business development to Ensure Technologies. He is active in several outside organizations.
