Security consultants association set to gather in California

The International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC) is holding its 25th Annual Conference. The four-day event in Palm Springs, California is an opportunity for members and those interested in consulting to learn the best practices of the security consulting profession.

Scheduled for April 26-29, 2009, the educational sessions include David Zahn, internationally known author of "How to Succeed as an Independent Consultant" and Ed Taylor, Internet marketing expert. Roundtable and panel discussions will include topics on marketing, expert witnessing, and thriving in a challenging economy.

The IAPSC 2009 program is designed for both established security consultants and those considering the profession. The education sessions are practical, with immediate application to improving the participant’s practice. Membership in the IAPSC is not required to attend.

Attendees also have the opportunity to meet with representatives from some of the best known and respected security equipment manufacturers and suppliers, with over 25 companies exhibiting.

A special portion of the program is dedicated to celebrating and recognizing the contributions made by members to the advancement of the security industry over the 25 years since the IAPSC was formed.
