New readers on display include the SSA-R1000 26-bit Wiegand-Compatible Reader for 125 KHz proximity cards and the SSA-R1001 34-bit Wiegand-Compatible version for 13.56 MHz smart cards. The units are designed with a narrow profile measuring only 1.85 x4.8 x 1.02 inches. For standard installation, the SSA-R1100 (125 KHz) and SSA-R1101 (13.56 MHz) Wiegand-Compatible Readers measure 2.96 x 4.8 x 1.02-inches. Features of all four models include external LED control, external buzzer control, indoor/outdoor operation, and weatherproof (IP66) rating. The readers are solid epoxy-potted and reverse-polarity protected. Vandal-resistant (IP68 rated) models include the SSA-R1000V, SSA-R1001V, SSA-R1100V and SSA-R1101V Wiegand-Compatible Readers.
The SSA-R2000 is a 26-bit Wiegand-Compatible Reader combining 125 KHz proximity and PIN access, and the SSA-R2000V is a vandal-resistant version featuring IP68 ingress protection. The SSA-R2001 is a 13.56 MHz contactless smart card and PIN version, and the SSA-R2001V is vandal-resistant. The readers are selectable for 26-bit Wiegand and 4/8-bit burst for PIN output formats and feature a 12-key numeric keypad with back lighting. Other features include external LED control, external buzzer control, reverse polarity protection, a tamper switch and compatible controller. Models SSA-R2000V and SSA-R2001V provide a longer cable (1m) for greater installation flexibility.
Adding biometrics functionality, the SSA-R2010 is a 26-bit Wiegand-Compatible Reader that incorporates fingerprint recognition for up to 1,000 users and use of 125 KHz proximity cards. The SSA-R2020 accommodates recognition of up to 2,000 fingerprint users, and the
SSA-R2040 accommodates up to 4,000 fingerprint users (as well as 10,000 ID users). The SSA-R2011, SSA-R2021 and SSA-R2041 are 36-bit Wiegand-Compatible and accommodate 13.56 MHz contactless smart cards. The readers provide 1:1 verification and 1:N (one-to-many) identification against storable two-fingerprint templates. Features include an auto-touch sensor for fingerprint-only identification, network communication via RS-232, RS-485 or TCP/IP, master card for user registration and deletion, and a tamper switch. Operating mode is selected by individual ID (RF only/fingerprint only/RF+fingerprint).
