Securitytronix releases new wide dynamic range cameras

MARCH 31, 2011 - Las Vegas, NV - Securitytronix announced today its family of eight wide dynamic range (WDR) dome cameras designed for commercial, institutional and residential installations.

Each model is packed with its own set of advanced features and standard accessories such as Sony Color Vertical Double Density CCD or Sony Color Super HAD II CCD sensors, infrared night vision, heaters, blowers, on-screen display (OSD), RS485 communications, sense up, eclipse, digital zoom, 3-axis mounts and much more. All models provide video resolutions up to 600 TVL in color and 700 TVL in black and white. The cameras' Day & Night feature supports low light illumination down to 0.0008 Lux. These are dual voltage cameras that can be powered with either 12VDC or 24VAC. Styles include indoor and outdoor vandal proof domes. With IP66 and IP67 ratings, these cameras are ready for various weather conditions.

"WDR cameras offer the advantage of capturing images under strong back light conditions. Historically, wide dynamic range cameras lacked critical features, that is, until Securitytronix introduced its family of WDR dome cameras," said Jennifer Kern, Securitytronix's Sales Manager. "Apart from delivering standard and infrared WDR cameras with compelling specifications at competitive prices, the addition of WDR cameras with integrated heaters and blowers offers dealers, installers and system integrators considerable flexibility at meeting site-specific installation requirements", continued Kern.
