2GIG Technologies named a principal member of the Z-Wave Alliance

Residential security solutions manufacturer joins with other industry firms in supporting the Z-Wave communications standard


Milpitas, Calif. – October 27, 2010 –The Z-Wave Alliance, an open consortium of leading global companies dedicated to establishing Z-Wave as the standard in wireless home control, today announced the addition of 2GIG Technologies, a leader in the residential security industry and provider of one of the most innovative home security platforms on the market, as its newest principal member. 2GIG Technologies joins an impressive list of industry leaders including: Cooper Wiring Devices, Danfoss, Fakro, Ingersoll Rand, Leviton, Sigma Designs and Universal Electronics.
