DMP’s 463G solution earns ULC Canada listing

Cellular communicator meets requirements for UL listing designation


Springfield, Missouri — April 8, 2009 — Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) has received authorization from Underwriters’ Laboratories of Canada to apply the ULC Listed mark to its 463G Digital Cellular Communicator. UL Canada recently completed their testing of the 463G and found it to be fully compliant with all requirements for the UL Listed designation. The 436G is an easy-to-install expansion card for the XR500 Command Processor panel that creates a direct wireless communications path to any DMP central station receiver.

The 463G has received the following listings:

• Central and Monitoring Station Burglar Alarm Units, CAN/ULC-S304-M88 Level 5

• Proprietary Burglar Alarm and Units Systems, CAN/ORD-C1076-M86

• Residential Fire Warning system Control Units, ULC-S545-02

• Household Burglar Alarm System Units, ULC Subject C1023-74

The 436G can be used as the primary communication path or a dependable wireless backup. There are no external power supplies, enclosures, batteries, cabling, or conduit connections, simplifying installation and strengthening system security. It provides a direct connection between the panel and Central Station with no alarm signal retransmission, providing faster and more reliable communications.
