Russell Collett Joins Lauren Innovations

NEW PHILADELPHIA, OH-April 13, 2011 - Lauren Innovations is pleased to welcome Russell Collett as Director of Strategic Business Development. As a retired U.S. Secret Service high-ranking official, Collett brings over 25 years of experience planning successful security for U.S. presidents, world leaders, and our nation's critical infrastructure and key assets. As a former chief operating officer of an international security firm, Collett also brings experience in the development of new security programs, human resources and training, enterprise risk, regulatory compliance, and the expansion of business opportunities.

In his new role, Collett will be responsible for cultivating new business for the NaviGate product in multiple verticals including healthcare, higher education, public venue, financial, and manufacturing segments. "I am happy to be part of the Lauren Innovations team," Collett commented. "In my experience, so many facilities and citizens could be better protected with the use of innovative management technology like the NaviGate solution. I look forward to introducing private sector business and security professionals, law enforcement and emergency management officials to this valuable asset." Collett, based in Chicago, will continue to broaden NaviGate's presence across the U.S. and abroad.

As a former U.S. Secret Service special agent and administrator responsible for the full spectrum of operations, Collett managed complex protective and investigative operations involving risk assessment, strategic planning, high-level negotiations, logistics, and direct supervision in international and domestic environments. Collett also directed the Service's financial, cyber and electronic crime investigations in Chicago, one of the agency's largest field districts, and was assigned to the prestigious Presidential Protective Division for over seven years where he held various leadership positions protecting President William J. Clinton, President George W. Bush and supervising security of the entire White House complex.

Collett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed graduate course study at George Washington University and Johns Hopkins University. He is a member of ASIS International and maintains a proactive and strategic alliance with several local, regional and national organizations dedicated to addressing homeland security, emergency management, business continuity and disaster recovery.
