Former LP exec to head business development for USS

Holm brings experience from Limited Brands to LP solutions company


Anti-shoplifting technologies firm Universal Surveillance Systems (USS) not only sells to loss prevention (LP) directors, but now the firm is bringing even more LP expertise in house. The company announced this week that it has hired Rod Holm as vice president of business development.

Holm brings an LP background that spans such companies as Target, Limited Brands, Express, Marshall's, and Bath and Body Works. His career covers 30 years. Holm will be heading up the company's worldwide business development functions in a "senior leadership role."

"Rod’s extensive knowledge in retail Loss Prevention will serve USS well as it continues to expand as the industry’s fastest growing retail security company,” said USS President and CEO Adel Sayegh. “We are very pleased to add someone with Rod Holm’s industry knowledge, expertise, and reputation to our core leadership group.”

USS provides variety of loss prevention solutions for retailers, from video surveillance to electronic article surveillance and anti-shoplifting tagging.
