Moog Videolarm introduces Liberty Series camera housing system

ATLANTA , May 24, 2010 – Moog Videolarm, a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative, high-quality surveillance products is pleased to introduce the Liberty Series camera housing system. The new 3G/4G system provides city-wide surveillance via the nation's cellular networks, or WiMax. Leveraging proven wireless infrastructure the Liberty Dome addresses a market need for sufficient throughput and video uplink speed while putting an end to line of sight concerns often associated with point to point and point to multi-point mesh systems.

“The Liberty Dome is ideal for difficult-to-wire, rapid deployment or isolated application installations. Providing customers all the advantages of wireless technology, the flexibility of the Liberty Dome also reduces installation time and cost,” said Jimmy Pfaffenberger, site general manager, Moog Videolarm. Relocating the system is as simple as unbolting the unit from its current location and mounting it wherever needed. “This liberating new technology will meet the changing security needs of end-users for years to come,” Pfaffenberger continued.

The Liberty Dome accommodates a wide range of Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) and fixed cameras, and comes fully equipped with a heater and blower. Like all Moog Videolarm housings, the Liberty Dome comes standard with a five-year warranty.
