Las Vegas, NV (April 1, 2009) â€“ At this week's ISCW show, Vitek Industrial Video Products Inc., an emerging leader of security and video surveillance product solutions, will demonstrate how its recently introduced SAGA â€œSTâ€ Series of Digital Video Recorders (DVR) can assist organizations in implementing a more efficient and cost effective video surveillance system. The next generation line-up includes the four channel VT-ST440, the eight channel VT-ST840 and the 16 channel VT-ST1640.

The DVRs are engineered to perform with high quality capabilities including the industry's only MPEG-4 compression format with a non-conditional refresh rate. The VT-ST840 and VT-ST1640 feature adjustable recording rates of up to 240 IPS per channel and the VT-ST440 is adjustable up to 120 IPS per channel. The units also feature dynamic IP support, multi-site remote monitoring of up to 256 cameras and up to 16 DVRs can be controlled via keyboard or IR remote control.
Additional features include a built-in DVD/CD burner; POS/text insertion and search capability; recording modes of continuous, motion, alarm, v-loss and scheduled; search modes of calendar, search and copy, time, event, block, file, bookmark and log; and e-mail notification of up to 10 accounts on motion, alarm, v-loss or HDD failure.
The four, eight and 16 channel models also deliver a wide range of expansion options including u p to two (2) Terabyte Internal Storage (2x - 1TB HDD) and up to 40 Terabytes External Storage (4x - 10 HDD Expansion bay units). The optional VT-XHD10U SAGA Series USB 2.0 HDD Expansion Bay is capable of supporting up to 10 IDE hard drives and up to four bays can be connected via USB2.0.
