Veracity appoints new operations manager

With Veracity achieving multi-million pound annual sales around the globe and anticipating 100 per cent sales growth in 2010, Veracity has appointed Paul O’Brien to manage its expanding production operations. Veracity is a technology-driven company which has an enviable track record for delivering innovative products to market with no fewer than 12 IP transmission and storage products since launch in 2005. Its products include HIGHWIRE, delivering Ethernet over coaxial cable, and its PoE extender OUTREACH. All Veracity products are designed and manufactured in the UK.

Paul will be responsible for introducing new products from design to production and ensuring that Veracity builds on its reputation for supplying good value, high quality, reliable and innovative products on-time to its customers and partners around the globe. Paul’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Veracity as it launches its revolutionary surveillance storage system, COLDSTORE.

Paul has held senior managerial roles for a host of leading global players. His most recent role was as an EMEA Supply Chain Manager for Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics contract manufacturer, where he was responsible for major supply chain efficiency projects. Prior to Foxconn, Paul worked for UK logistics giant Unipart as Head of Operations for a mobile phone configuration, packaging and distribution plant. He has also held senior roles with CRC Group (now Regenersis) and PCI.

Paul lives in Glasgow and holds degrees in Production Engineering and Management Studies, an MBA from Napier University, Edinburgh and is also qualified as a PRINCE2 project practitioner.
