Las Vegas, NV (April 1, 2009) – Effective access control doesn't require expensive or complicated computer software. At ISC West, Dortronics Systems, Inc. will be demonstrating the value of simplicity in its EZ-Access Solution designed to control one or two doors with one reader each or one door with two readers for in/out control.
EZ-Access has a memory capacity of 2,000 active user codes for secure off-line operation.
“EZ-Access is a convenient stand-alone system that delivers an extremely cost-efficient means of implementing an advanced access control solution,” said Bryan Sanderford, National Sales Manager, Dortronics Systems, Inc. “For businesses with limited entry/egress points, this system fits the need perfectly. It also works well for facilities needing to limit access to specific areas.”
For full functionality, secure EZ-Prox cards, key fobs or any of the Dortronics 26-bit Wiegand keypads can be used to gain access. EZ-Access users can easily be programmed in or out of the system using a programming card or master code entered by the keypad. With Dortronics’ EZ-Access Control System, history reports are viewed as text files with standard computer programs such as Notepad or Excel, and audit trails are easily downloadable with the EZ-Logger software provided.
EZ-Access is equipped with two heavy-duty SPDT 3 amp relays, one for each controlled door or gate, and an auxiliary open collector DC output that can be used to trigger external relays for CCTV, etc. The EZ-Access door controller has a capacity for 2,000 active card holders. The 26-bit Wiegand-compatible system is also ideal for exterior doors or gates.
“The system enables users of large access control systems to provide access into remote facilities without the use of a dedicated phone line or an expensive on-site network of computer systems,” said Sanderford. “For small businesses, it provides the best in affordable access control.”
