WAYNE, NJ (March 31, 2009) – Continuing its commitment to open architecture solutions and to delivering the most reliable, compatible and expandable security products to its customers, JVC announces the integration of its IP video surveillance cameras—notably the VN-V686BU and VN-V686WPBU pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) cameras and its VN-V25U and VN-V26U fixed cameras—into JDS Digital Security Systems’ Softsite32 Enterprise video management platform.
This integration is a result of JVC customers’ desire to integrate JVC’s IP cameras within their new and existing JDS systems. With JVC as the latest manufacturer to have their IP network cameras incorporated into JDS’s growing list of IP network drivers, JDS customers can now seamlessly integrate JVC’s latest and most innovate IP cameras—such as the SIA New Product Showcase award winning VN-V686WPBU PTZ—into their surveillance systems.
“JVC is committed to open architecture solutions and this integration with JDS’s Softsite32 Enterprise system allows us to broaden our connection with one of the leading IP surveillance companies in the industry,” said Geoff Anderson, national marketing manager for Security Products, JVC. “Softsite32 Enterprise systems are installed in Frisco ISD, The Department of Energy, The Kennedy Space Center visitor complex and countless other high end security systems around the world.”
"The addition of JVC IP network cameras into our Softsite32 Enterprise systems offers our customers greater choice and access to quality IP network cameras. Through this joint effort with JVC, a quality manufacturer of IP network cameras, we have seen that these systems will play an important role in the future of IP video surveillance,” said Joe Marchese, president of JDS Digital Security Systems.
