Intransa certifies multiple technology vendors as select, select elite partners

CUPERTINO, CA – October 11, 2010 – Intransa, the VideoAppliance company, has announced that the physical security industry's widest portfolio of independent, customer-proven products are now certified for delivery with Intransa VideoAppliance platforms. The physical security industry's leading hardware and software products have achieved Intransa SELECT or SELECT ELITE Partner Certification through Intransa's Technology Lab.  The products include a variety of IP camera, video management software, access control and video analytic system products from a number of vendors.

“Intransa's Technology Lab has certified hundreds of physical security and technology products over the past few years providing assurance to customers that product integration and installation will be risk-free and quick,” said Jeff Whitney, vice president, marketing for Intransa.  “The strong support the leading product vendors in the security industry have shown for Intransa's certification program has enabled us to achieve our highest certification levels ever.  Because of this customers are now able to deploy a complete physical security solution that raises the bar on simplicity, affordability and ease of operation, while providing all the flexibility and benefits of open IP-based solutions.”

Due to the Intransa certification program customers can deploy access control, video analytics and video surveillance solutions simultaneously on their choice of any of the company's affordable and scalable physical security appliances.  The certified solutions save on electricity and HVAC, and eliminate the need for complex commodity hardware that previously had to be configured, installed and operated.

Since 2008 hundreds of products have achieved Intransa VideoAppliance Certification jointly from the Intransa Technology Lab and the individual product vendor.  Certification eliminates the risk of integration issues and ensures better system performance.  Certification categories include access control, cameras and imaging systems, DVRs and NVRs in CCTV DVR upgrades, PSIM, and video analytics, plus supporting technology and infrastructure.

In 2010 Intransa has added seven additional certification categories, reflecting higher testing and certification accomplishments in the Intransa Technology Lab.  The new SELECT Partner Certification requires completion of comprehensive Level 2 Advanced Certification and Integration testing suite.

The recently added SELECT ELITE Partner Certification adds completion of Level 3 Advanced Performance and Integration testing as a further requirement.  Beyond technical qualifications, SELECT ELITE certification requires a vendor to work at the SELECT partner level for a period of time until it achieves a certain level of sales and becomes a top Intransa customer product choice.

The new enhanced categories, and those leading vendors who have achieved them, are shown below.  Vendor products that are certified in more than one category reflect  their commitment to industry leadership and open technology.
