The Loss Prevention Foundation announced this week that Dan Provost, vice president of US Retail Store and Distribution Center Loss Prevention for Staples, has joined the organization’s board.
According to a statement, Provost has more than 25 years experience in store operations, loss prevention, inventory control and logistics and was the first industry executive to implement approved tuition assistance for the LPQualified (LPQ) and LPCertified (LPC) certification courses.
"Dan has proven that he has tremendous industry vision and has clearly demonstrated his commitment to improving the loss prevention industry through supporting education," said Gene Smith, president of The Loss Prevention Foundation. "Provost will assist in governing the foundation and providing strategic direction with the current team of board members."
