Paxton’s Net2 market leading IP-based access control system and award winning specialty reader line is now integrated with Intransa VideoAppliance platforms. "This is a great opportunity for the customer to receive the Net2 Access Software but with the advantage of a top of the line storage solution that provides long-term archiving and data protection," said Tim McCarthy, Product Manager of Paxton Access. "Our extensive certification testing and approval with Intransa validates for our customers proven interoperability of the scalable storage platform and IP video and access integration."
"With Paxton Access and Intransa integrated into a single solution, customers gain the best in access control technology while leveraging scalable, affordable and reliable Intransa platforms," said Ayal Vogel, vice president, business development, Intransa. "We are pleased that Paxton Access Net2 access control is now available with Intransa VideoAppliance,"
Widely deployed by customers in physical security, industrial video and related markets since its introduction in mid-2009, Intransa’s VideoAppliance was recently recognized as the Best in Video Storage and Distribution by the Security Industry Association at ISC West 2010, which is the latest in a string of similar awards.
Each Intransa installer-ready appliance shrinks the complexity and cost of integrating commodity servers, storage and other hardware for demanding physical security needs. While eliminating two, three, four or more commodity server and storage systems with a single, physical security optimized device, Intransa’s VideoAppliance includes integration with the customer’s choice of software, including Bosch products.
