Monitronics appoints Steve Baker VP of sales

Former ADT executive to head up company’s sales efforts

DALLAS (November 10, 2008) – Monitronics, a top U.S. security company, has appointed Steve Baker as Vice President of Sales. He brings 25 years of experience in the areas of business development, management and business development strategies within the security industry.

As Vice President of Sales at Monitronics, Baker is charged with all facets of sales, including overall sales strategy, new market segments, and managing the existing dealer base. Baker will also guide the overall strategy for both Monitronics and our dealers. His goals are to improve the dealer experience and the quality of dealers being accepted into the Monitronics Dealer Program.

Most recently Baker served as Director of Business Development with ADT. During his first 13 years in the security industry, Baker worked for Westec Security in Southern California in all areas of the company. During his career, Baker has worked with dealers closely and worked to grow dealer bases and implement successful dealer programs.
