MINNEAPOLIS – October 30, 2008 – Security system integrator VTI Security (Videotronix Inc.) announced that it is licensed to conduct business in Texas and opened an office in Amarillo to better meet the needs of its customers in the western United States. The office is currently staffed by full-time technicians and project management.

"We're pleased to be able to support the operation of a satellite location in Amarillo," said Bryan Viau, VTI's executive vice president. "We have a significant client base in that market and want to offer direct support from VTI by having our own locally based staff."

The new office will continue to receive back office support from the corporate headquarters in Minneapolis.

"The addition of Amarillo, along with support from our existing offices in Denver and Colorado Springs, will allow us to support the western region footprint for several large customers and prospects in the energy marketplace," Viau said, "One recent energy based customer also has a significant footprint in the Minnesota area that will be supported from our Minneapolis office"
