Integration of company's lens provides Ocularis Client users with panoramic views

Montreal. Tuesday October 28, 2008. ImmerVision, the expert in 360° Panoramic Imaging Technology and inventor of the Panomorph lens that removes video surveillance “blindness” with standard cameras, announces that OnSSI, the market leader in non-proprietary, open architecture intelligent IP-based video surveillance software solutions, has integrated ImmerVision Enables panoramic functionality into the Ocularis Client. The ImmerVision Enables certification gives users of Ocularis Client the benefit of panoramic viewing when using ImmerVision’s IMV1 1/3 Panomorph lens.

Panomorph optics provide consistent 360-degree viewing, live or playback, of an entire area -- critical in the banking, gaming, retailing, petroleum, public transit, manufacturing and government sectors, where video surveillance "blindness" is dangerous and costly.

"OnSSI’s intelligent IP video surveillance management platform Ocularis, coupled with ImmerVision’s panomorph technology, will enable security practitioners to 'see everything, anywhere, at anytime' without any blind spots" said Yves Messier, ImmerVision Vice President – Video Surveillance Applications. "With Ocularis ImmerVision Enables certification, OnSSI’s 20,000 installed sites can now experience true total awareness," Messier added.

"ImmerVision 360 degree imaging technology adds greatly to the video surveillance capabilities available for many end-users. We are pleased to extend this enhanced functionality to users of the Ocularis Clients" said Mulli Diamant, Vice President of Sales, On-Net Surveillance Systems, Inc.
