Intransa CEO to present at ISC East

Oct. 28, 2008
Broomhead to join consultant Dan Dunkel for session on 'selling convergence'

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--October 24, 2008--Bud Broomhead, CEO of Intransa, the global leader of shared, scalable and simple external IP storage solutions, will be a featured panelist at ISC East, October 29 -30, at the Javits Convention Center, New York, NY. Intransa will also be exhibiting the latest IP storage solutions for physical security in booth 959 shared with IPVS Magazine and IP camera leader Axis Communications.

Intransa products bring the power of IP to video surveillance and other applications through shared, external storage for physical security. Intransa solutions scale from a few days of recording on the edge directly from IP cameras or for a few DVRs, to supporting hundreds of DVRs and thousands of cameras for years of retention with instant playback.

"Adding IP benefits to just one DVR brings reduced cost and improved reliability while dramatically increasing video retention," said Broomhead. "Getting the benefits of IP isn't just for large, big budget projects, but it also plays well when upgrading existing CCTV infrastructures that are in need of cutting costs and improving results."

Broomhead's session, Selling Security Convergence: Bridging the Gap, will be hosted and moderated by industry luminary and author Dan Dunkel, president of New Era Associates, LLC. The session will be held in room 1E04 on Thursday, October 30, from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
